34th BCS selected 771 female and 1,388 male candidates

The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) published the final results of the 34th BCS on Saturday.

The BPSC provisionally recommended 2,159 candidates to be recruited against the vacant posts in the public services.

Of them, 3 physically challenged candidates and 771 female and 1,388 male candidates have been selected for appointment in the vacant posts.

The results also include the non-cadre candidates who have passed in both written and viva voce exams.

The BPSC authorities could not recommend them to be apponted as BCS cadre officials due to insufficient number of the posts.

It asked the authorities concerned to appoint the candidates in various non-cadre posts -- class I and class II -- under Non-Cadre Act 2010.
