We did not arrest Salahuddin Ahmed : says police

She went to the Uttara Police Station where she was allegedly rejected again.

The law enforcers have refuted the claim of Salahuddin’s family that the BNP leader was picked up by plainclothesmen on Tuesday night.

After failing to file a GD (General Diary), Hasina Ahmed said, “The officials at the police stations said the complaint was baseless.”

Hasina, a former MP, said she would move the High Court on Thursday to know Salahuddin’s whereabouts.

Asked why they did not record the complaint, Uttara police OC Rafiqul Islam said, “A lady came with a compliant. We sought her help to inspect the site and record statement of a witness.

“She left without helping us,” he added.
