Actress Kriti Sanon has denied reports that she has been roped in for “Sultan” opposite Salman Khan, saying nobody has offered her the role yet.

Media was abuzz with the reports that the “Heropanti” star had been signed on to star in the Ali Abbas Zafar-directed film, which was earlier offered to other prominent actresses in the industry.

“Even I read about me doing ‘Sultan’ in newspapers… I don’t really know where it comes from and who gets to know all this. They don’t even confirm or check before they write. I would love to do it but I have not been approached so far,” Kriti told PTI on the sidelines of a Gillette Venus event here last night.

The 25-year-old actress will be next seen in Rohit Shetty’s upcoming project “Dilwale”, which also stars Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Varun Dhawan.

Asked why it took her a while to sign her second Bollywood project, Kriti said, “I always knew that it takes time for your second film to happen. I didn’t want to sign anything in hurry. In most of the actor’s career there has always been a little gap between first and the second film.”
