Speaker condoles death of Syed Mohsin Ali

Speaker of the Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury today expressed profound shock at the death of Social Welfare Minister Syed Mohsin Ali, MP.

In a condolence message, she recalled the contribution of Syed Mohsin Ali to welfare of the country and its people with due respect.

She said the nation has lost a veteran politician, social reformer and a simple man at his death.

"The death of Mohsin Ali is irreparable loss to the country," she observed.

The Speaker prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members.

In a joint-statement, Deputy Speaker Mohammad Fazle Rabbi Mia and Chief Whip ASM Feroz also mourned the death of the social welfare minister.
