Blogger Oyasiqur killing five  Ansarullah members to be charged

Detectives will submit charge sheet against five members of Ansarullah Bangla Team and several unknown persons today in blogger Oyasiqur Rahman killing case.

“We have already sent the charge sheet to a Dhaka court,” Dhaka Metropolitan Police Joint Commissioner Monirul Islam said at a press briefing today.

The five charge sheeted accused are Zikrullah, Ariful, Saiful, Junayed and Abdullah, he said.

Abdullah, an organiser of Ansarullah Bangla team, masterminded the killing mission, the DMP official said.

Among the accused, Zikrullah, Ariful and Saiful are now in police custody while Junayed and Abdullah remain absconding.

Oyasiqur Rahman Babu, 27, was attacked by three cleaver-wielding youths and hacked to death in broad day light in Dhaka’s Tejgaon Industrial area on March 30.
