Vote on Monday at three DSCC centres

The Election Commission (EC) on Monday will hold voting at three centres of Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC). Voting was suspended in those centres due to irregularities on 28 April election.

People will be able to cast their votes from 8:00am to 4:00pm.

The three centres are Kamalapur Railway high School (ward no. 8, centre no.151), Suritola Model Govt High School (ward no. 34, centre no. 565) and Jurain Ashraf Master High School (ward no. 53, centre no.807).

Assistant Secretary of the Election Commission Rajib Ahsan said as the gazette for the mayors and the reserved ward councillors has been prepared, so the voting will be only for ward councillors.

He also said that three observers have been appointed for three centres to make the voting fair.

Meanwhile, The Election Commission on Sunday formed a two-member committee to find out why the voting was suspended in those three centres.
