IMF estimates 6pc GDP growth rate
The International Monetary Fund has estimated that Bangladesh’s GDP (Gross Domestic Product) growth rate could reach 6 percent in the current fiscal year.
But the US-based global organization warned that the ongoing political crisis, if not resolved soon, could cripple the economy more.
Rodrigo Cubero, chief of the visiting IMF delegation in Dhaka, made the forecast at a press briefing at Secretariat on Tuesday.
