Deviant death of mother and two children in Barguna
A woman allegedly committed suicide after killing her two daughters at Lemua village under Sadar upazila last night.
The deceased were Roji Akhter, 26, wife of Rumen Panchayet, and their two daughters Moumi, 5, and Tayeba, 3.
Local sources said Roji first poisoned her daughters Moumi and Tayeba and then she also took poison.
The two children died after taken to Barguna General Hospital at about 9 am. Mother Rozi Akhter died at Barisal Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital at about 1.30 am.
Officer-in-Charge of Sadar Thana Riaz Hossain said we are looking into the matter and the incident might have happened following a family feud.
