British PM Edward Heath was the  client of a Prostitute

A brothel-keeper woman, who made the sensational revelation that former British prime minister Edward Heath was one of her clients, has been identified as a Filpino prostitute who had cases against her dropped in 1990s after she threatened to expose him as a paedophile.

Though the police are yet to name her, according to a report in The Telegraph, the woman has been identified as a 67-year-old Myra Ling-Ling Forde, who ran a brothel not far from ex-PM Edward Heath's home in Salisbury.

Reports say that the Wiltshire Police in 1990s dropped prosecution against the prostitute in order to save the reputation of Tory leader Edward Heath who served as the British PM from 1970-74.

However, later she was convicted and arrested twice in 1995 and 2009 for running a brothel brimming with underage girls.

The Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) is now investigating the claim against Wiltshire police, made by a former detective.

The IPCC will also investigate whether officers with Wiltshire Police in western England subsequently took any steps to investigate the claims about Heath`s actions.

The Telegraph reports that Forde became a prostitute in 1995 to manage her mortgage repayments, but she denied recruiting youngsters, the Winchester Crown Court heard.

As per court hearings, she trained runaway children as call girls, often picking them up from care homes, for which she was convicted in 1995.

Winchester Crown Court also heard the accounts of teenage girls who described how they used to go to the brothel named 'The Oriental Massage Parlour' straight from school.

Heath was a centre-right Conservatives was prime minister, leading Britain into the European Economic Community in 1973 after a referendum. He died in 2005.

The case against him is now being investigated by five British forces. The Met, Wiltshire, Kent, Jersey and Hampshire forces are conducting separate inquiries into the case, says the BBC.
