Five killed in “gunfight” with army in Rangamati
Five people were killed during a “gunfight” with army personnel in Baghaichhari upazila of Rangamati early today.
Army claimed that the deceased were the members of armed groups of United People's Democratic front (UPDF) and Jana Sanghati Samity (JSS), reports Bangla daily Prothom-Alo. Meanwhile, UPDF and JSS denied the claim.
An army man also sustained injuries during the “gunfight”, the daily reports.
