Akshay Kumar says even though it is hard to make people laugh

Actor Akshay Kumar says even though it is hard to make people laugh, comedy genre is looked down upon by the people. Akshay, who is making a comeback to his favourite genre with choreographer-director Prabhudheva’s “Singh Is Bliing”, feels comedy is yet to get its due credit.

“People look down on comedy. Even at the award nights, there should be an award for best comedy actor. Comedy is one of the best genre, but we have not seen it so far. “It is wonderful that people are making different comedy films. It is tough to make and be a part of comedy films. Comedy will get its due,” Akshay told reporters here at the promotional event of the movie.
