C Pujara scores 135* to  recover from batting collapse and reach 292/8 on Day 2

India would look to add some more runs to their overnight score of 292/8 when they take the field against the home side Sri Lanka at the SSC, Colombo on Sunday on Day 3 of the final Test. On the other hand, Sri Lanka would like to take the maximum advantage of the break in momentum and fold up the Indian innings as soon as possible. Catch the Live Score of the match and updates HERE.

here was hardly much of a difference between the two deliveries. They were angled in from around-the-wicket by Rangana Herath, with the ball eventually reaching the right-hander’s pads, around his knees. And the respective responses of Cheteshwar Pujara and Rohit Sharma were not too dissimilar either, with both flicking it to the deep square-leg fielder for a single.

But if Pujara looked like he was swatting a fly that had come troublingly close to him, Rohit seemed to be nonchalantly tapping it on its way. In Herath’s next over, both used their feet to the veteran left-arm spinner, one prancing out of his crease to launch it over long-off for six, the other awkwardly pouncing at in a bid to smother the spin. It’s not too difficult to decipher which was which.
