Police report says: They did not see any trace of Salahuddin Ahmed
Police in its report submitted to the attorney general’s office said they could not trace BNP joint secretary general Salahuddin Ahmed, who went missing last week.The report submitted on Sunday morning said the search for the BNP leader was on.
It will be submitted to the High Court at noon before the beginning of a hearing.
On Thursday, the High Court issued a ruling as to why Salahuddin should not be tracked down and brought to court on Sunday.The ruling was issued in response to a petition.
Salahuddin’s family and the BNP have repeatedly alleged that police picked him up from a house in Uttara.
But police have denied the allegation.
