Jatiya Sangsad begins with .... Budget session
The second budget session of the 10th Jatiya Sangsad begins this afternoon.
The House goes into session around 5:30pm.
Finance Minister AMA Muhith will place the budget proposal for fiscal 2015-16 on Thursday.
The business advisory committee of parliament would sit at 4:00pm with Speaker Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury in the chair to finalise the duration and businesses of the session.
Some important bills are likely to be placed and passed during the coming session, sources at parliament secretariat said.
Prime Minister and Leader of the House Sheikh Hasina, Opposition Leader Raushan Ershad and Jatiya Party Chairman HM Ershad, among others, are the members of the 15-member business advisory committee.
