Believe it or not, Sheikh Hasina is a voter in India’s Bengaluru, if a voter ID card is to be believed.

According to the voter ID card found in Karnataka, Hasina is a resident of Thanisandra area of the Karnataka state capital, India Today reports.

The card clearly shows her picture and names her late husband, Wazed Miah. The only mistake been made is her date of birth. The card says she was born in 1992, according to the India Today report.

The matter has come to light just a day before the dates of upcoming civic polls in Bengaluru were expected to be announced. The civic polls are due in the month of July.

Accepting the Election Commission's faux pas, Karnataka Home Minister KJ George said, "I don't think this is an authentic ID card. I will order a probe into the matter."

This is one of the many fake ID cards issued by the Election Commission. Another person to get such a card is Virginia Lo Yao, who is a fugitive and carried a reward of $50,000, added the India Today report.
