Investigate activity to interrogate Habiganj Razakar brothers on March 16

The investigation agency of the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) will interrogate alleged Razakars from Habiganj Mohibur Rahman alias Boro Miah and Mozibur Rahman alias Angur Miah at its Dhanmandi Safe House on March 16.

The ICT-2 today set the date accepting a petition brought by prosecutor Sultan Mahmud Simon. The tribunal also asked the prosecution to submit final investigation report against the duo on April 16.

The two-member tribunal passed the order as the prosecution today submitted the progress report on investigation and sought one more month to present the final report before the court.

Mohibur and his brother Mozibur, incumbent chairman of Khagaura union parishad under Baniachong upazila of Habiganj, were arrested on February 10 soon after the tribunal issued arrest warrant against them.

According to the investigation agency, the duo raised a gang of Razakars in Baniachang and established a camp in the locality. They raided the houses of Freedom Fighters and pro-liberation people, looted those and set those on fire.
